The Solar Technology Acceleration Center (SolarTAC) is the largest test facility for solar technologies in the United States. It provides an exciting venue for researching, demonstrating, testing, and validating a broad range of solar technologies at the early commercial or near-commercial stage of development.

SolarTAC includes common areas for performance validation testing of new solar energy system components, as well as areas for proprietary testing by Member Companies.

Utilities and solar product companies are invited to join SolarTAC as Founding Members or Sponsoring Members, each providing distinctive membership benefits. The business plan also allows Members to sponsor a wide range of research projects. SolarTAC will be open to research sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and by national laboratories like the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) located in Golden, Colorado.
